Flick N Sip Seafood Recipes. his super easy fish recipe can be cooked on the BBQ or pan-fried and served with your favourite side. In this recipe, we use Kingfish and recommend white flesh fish with these flavours.
Seafood

1 kg Kingfish steaks (4 portions)
Spices
-
1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
-
1 tsp Sea Salt (maybe a little shy of 1 tsp)

1/2 tsp Turmeric, powder
-
2 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
Liquids / Oils
- 2-3 tbsp Olive oil or tbsp Coconut oil
- 1tsp Water
Fresh(ish)
- 1 Curry, leaves
- 1/2 Lemon juice (Fresh)
Method
- Reserve kingfish, curry leaves and 2 tbsp of oil
- Add the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix well until a smooth consistency
- Slice or tear curry leaves and add to bowl
- With a sharp knife, slightly slice into the Kingfish flesh (don't cut all the way through)
- Rub the marinade into each piece of fish until well coated and refrigerate for 30 mins
- Pre-heat BBQ (or a pan with oil over low-medium heat), when the oil heats, place fish pieces in batches, cook until golden brown in colour on both sides.
